Denise

Mother of 2 teenage boys, wife of 20 years, daughter, sister, friend, marriage coach. My greatest strength is my ability to see both sides of any situation. I'm not a huge worrier but when I do it's about my kids’ future. I hope they will be healthy, safe and successful in whatever they do. I'm a lifelong student of personal growth and I'm always working towards the future version of myself. My greatest personal struggle is consistently believing in myself. I don't like when people are mad at me and at times I worry I'm not as well liked as other people. It's a priority for me to surround myself with like minded, entrepreneurial, badass women and to manage my negative self talk. I have felt not good enough, but those doubtful moments are fewer as I get older. I used to be too insecure to extend beyond my very small comfort zone and often held onto the story that I'm missing out. I've always had a huge fear of missing out. Now, I tell myself I'm not missing out on anything because I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be at this moment. I'd tell a 12 year old version of me, "you are worthy just because you are you". I wish there was more acceptance of differences and less poverty and homelessness in the world. Success is living my life purpose, living in integrity, doing what I love and being surrounded by people I love. Happiness comes from loving yourself. In romantic relationships I believe you have to work to create romance, not just expect it to be there. It's so important to define romance in your own way instead of by what you see on tv. You have to do what you love, together. To me, romance is in the small things. I wish women had less judgement about themselves and more self-love. In 10 years I hope to be living closer to the beach with a thriving online coaching practice. I'm proud of my ability to get along well with all kinds of people. I'm easy going, ambitious and loyal. I love to spend time with family and friends. I am Denise and I am perfect just the way I am.
